My visit to Swanland School Nairobi and Esther’s Project.
Whatever you put your heart to, will blossom.
Going to the Swanland School and Esther’s preparatory school made me see how beautiful the heart can make a place look. Both schools are looking extremely good, things up and running, cheerful little faces running up and down, with the excitement that they have been given an opportunity to better their lives through education.
There was such a positive buzz around the schools that made both places, though very poor and neglected, feel safer, and made you see there is hope after all, at least that is what I got. The Nairobi team were kind enough to organise a meeting for me to attend, where I was briefed, on what they have been doing, what they have faced, and how they have tackled the various issues. They were open to advice from me, which I thought to be very self-effacing of them. I was given a tour of both schools and managed to take pictures of it. It is amazing how much they have done in such a short span of time. The enthusiasm, dedication and hard work they have is transpired in what you see. It speaks for itself.
With the help of Swanland Team UK who tirelessly make sure that resources are sent, and with the help of generous donors, something beautiful is blossoming in the heart of Kenya, and soon the flowers will be seen, all because of beautiful hearts. Thanking you all for supporting Swanland School Nairobi and Esther’s project.
